On December 28, Friends of Silver Lake hosted Celebrating the Gifts of Silver Lake, a gathering at the Congregational Church in South Glastonbury. Community members came together to reconnect, share stories, and hear directly from members of the Board.
During the event, Board members reflected on how Friends of Silver Lake came to be, shared how the organization is prepared for the work ahead, and highlighted what has already been accomplished. The presentation was followed by a thoughtful time of questions, conversation, and shared reflection.
